Let It Go, But Make It Golden
Sunday, November 1 | Leo Moon, Last Quarter, 4 Day
Clear it out, enjoy it, and remember who you are

Okay, friend, let’s talk about today.
First things first: we got our extra hour back this morning. If you slept through it, no judgment. If you spent it staring at the ceiling, also no judgment. Either way, today has a “slow down and take stock” feel, and that hour feels like a little gift to go with it.
The overview
Today is a soft landing with a spark in it. We’ve got a waning Moon, which asks us to release, paired with a Leo Moon that wants us to enjoy ourselves, paired with a Sunday that wants us to be seen and feel like ourselves. And the numbers are quietly saying, “Let’s keep it grounded.”
The theme I’m getting is clear out what’s heavy, keep what’s joyful, and do it with some warmth.
The Moon phase: waning, and hitting last quarter today
Sometime this afternoon, the Moon reaches its last quarter, that half-lit point in the waning phase. The Moon is in release mode now. This is the stretch for uncrossing, cord-cutting, clearing clutter, ending what’s draining you, and closing roads so the next New Moon (about a week from now, around November 9) has clean ground to grow in.
Today’s invitation: What are you still carrying that you’ve already outgrown? You don’t have to do a huge ritual. Naming it counts.
The Moon sign: Leo
Leo Moon is all about creativity, romance, play, self-expression, joy, and performance. It’s the part of us that wants to be delighted.
This is a lovely thing to pair with a releasing Moon. Instead of grim, heavy purging, we get to let go with some style. Put on music while you clean out the closet. Light a candle while you journal. Wear the thing that makes you feel like yourself. Leo also loves being seen and appreciated, so it’s a good day to give someone a compliment, send a sweet text to your person, or do something just because it’s fun.
Watch for a little extra sensitivity around feeling overlooked. If your feelings get tender today, that’s just Leo wanting some love. Give it to yourself first.
The day: Sunday
- Ruled by: the Sun
- Color: yellow or gold
- Chakra: solar plexus
- Themes: identity, purpose, visibility, vitality, success, blessings, naming intentions, leadership
- Good for: vocation, clarity, and alignment
Sunday is the day to check in with who you are and what you’re here for. The solar plexus is our center of confidence and personal power, so if you’ve been feeling a little dimmed lately, today is a good day to wear some gold or yellow, drink something warm, or just step into the sunlight for a few minutes.
A simple question to sit with: Does what I’m spending my energy on actually line up with who I am right now?
The numerology: it’s a 4 day
Here’s the math: 11 + 1 + 2026 reduces down to a 13, which becomes a 4. (If you keep the year as 10 before reducing, you get 22, the Master Builder, which also roots down to 4. So either way, we land in 4 territory.)
The 4 is about structure, grounding, foundations, discipline, practicality, and order. It supports building routines, boundaries, systems, and even physical healing work. The shadow side is rigidity and workaholism, so keep it gentle.
What I love here is how the 4 balances the fiery, playful Leo Moon. Leo says “Let’s celebrate!” and 4 says “Let’s build something that lasts.” Together they say you can enjoy yourself and still get your house in order.
Journal prompt for the 4: What structures or habits will support the life I’m building now?
Putting it all together: your Sunday game plan
- Release something. Waning last quarter Moon. Pick one thing to clear, whether that’s a habit, a tie, or a pile of clutter.
- Do it joyfully. Leo Moon. Music, color, a little flair.
- Reconnect with your purpose. Sunday Sun. Gold, sunlight, a quiet check-in with yourself.
- Build one small thing. The 4 day. Set one routine or boundary that supports next week.
That’s the whole recipe. Clear it out, enjoy it, remember who you are, and build a little foundation for the week ahead.
Be gentle with yourself today, and have a beautiful Sunday.
