Floor Life: Essentials For Working On The Floor

Hey y’all! Remember when I was telling y’all all about my Japanese style Floor mattress in my Floor Life video?

In that video I mentioned a more economical option in floor desk since I can’t quite afford to drop $2k on a LowDesk at the moment 😅

This is the one!

I finally bought it today from Amazon. I mean, it was only $20 so it wasn’t hard to accomplish this mission ha ha!

Since starting this blog, I’ve obviously been writing a lot more regularly (which I’m enjoying immensely) and my little rigged set-up wasn’t working well for me anymore.

So I needed to switch things up a bit. That little floor desk has been sitting in the ‘save later’ portion of my Amazon shopping cart for months. I don’t know why it took me this long to buy it!

Well, I finally locked in and bought it today after struggling with my little set-up above. It’s cute and all, and I love my bamboo lap desk (that I also bought at Amazon), it just works better on your lap and not on top of my little yellow ottoman – it slides and moves around too much for me and I want to be able to put my legs under the desk for a change.

Don’t get me wrong, this little set-up served me well for years! And I will always use my little lap desk in bed or on the sofa, I just needed an upgrade on my floor working situation.

To compliment the little floor desk I just bought, I also grabbed this floor pillow too.

This too is an upgrade from some (now flattened a bit) random throw pillows I had laying around that I have been using for sitting support. It’s much wider and thicker than what I’ve been using. And this one is actually made as a floor pillow so my little set up has been completely revamped.

I can’t wait until my orders arrive!
